[Herpetology • 2005] 2 new Raorchestes (firstly: Philautus) • Shrub Frogs from Ponmudi Hill in the Western Ghats of India


Raorchestes graminirupes
(Biju & Bossuyt, 2005)

Type locality: "at an altitude of 1020 m above sea level, at 'upper sanatorium' Ponmudi Hill, (approximately 8° 45´ N, 77° 08´ E) in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India".
Holotype: BNHM 4265.

Type locality: "at an altitude of 1030 m above sea level, from Ponmudi Hills near 'upper sanatorium' (approximately 8° 45´ N, 77° 08´ E) in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India".
Holotype: BNHM 4272.
