Holotype: Chiromantis samkosensis sp. nov.

Type locality: "eastern flank of Phnom Samkos, Pursat Province, Cardamom Mountains, Cambodia (12° 08.817´ N, 103° 08.067´ E;...) at 501 m in elevation".
Holotype: ZRC 1.11896.
